Muntjac Deer

- Known as barking deer because of their vocalization
- Shy and solitary animals
- Life span of 15-20 years
- Muntjacs can reproduce any time of the year
- 12 subspecies found in Taiwan, China, India and Japan
- Male’s have antlers which can grow up to 15 centimeters long
- Favorite snack: Carrots
